Purpose and Scope
Welcome to my awards program. It has been created to honor and show appreciation for the hours of time and effort put into well-designed sites. I know it is hard work to make a good site and know that sometimes it takes hours just getting one page the way you want it.
I look for sites that portray useful and creative content, graphics, navigation and aesthetics. I would like to honor those webmasters who strive to improve the world wide web. They make it a better place for all to enjoy, and are constantly improving their websites. I will show respect, courtesy, and honesty to each applicant to my award program.
My award is not only for webpage content; a site also needs to have good eye appeal. It should have ease of use and load in a reasonable amount of time and be useful to others. If your website is a winner of my award you have a site worthy of the honor.
I do check html code, but as I know not all programs will not give the same results and that will be taken into consideration.
Obvious spelling errors and missing graphics on the other hand are easily corrected and should be in order before a submission. No matter what your sites are about please read the criteria and disqualifiers before sending in the application.
