A million-years-old formation of boulders, Devil's Den is a sight to behold: especially when one discovers the terrible price paid by those boys in blue and gray who defended it during the battle of Gettysburg. Southern regiments found Devil's Den a good vantage point for attack, which they did on three sides at once.
