Constitution Day

Holiday Index

This day remembers the signing of the Constitution that gives Americans the rights we cherish. In September of 1787, after this occurred, Congress went to work having each state put the Constitution's words into motion, and the rights of the people were strengthened. Today, we should remember the lives of those brave men who signed the Constitution, and what its signing did to make America the free land it is today. Singing patriotic songs would make just as much sense on this day as on Independence Day.
