The Election Day observance falls in November, four years after the last Election Day.
Those who have the proper papers are urged to go and vote on whom they wish to elect as
the next President of the United States. How many electors each state has varies, and
in December, after each candidate is brought together, a president is chosen. The day
itself started just before the Civil War because the old way of determining a president
was considered flawed. Now, Election Day traditions have become part of the democracy
of America.
