| National Parents Day was formed in 1994 by Congress and President Clinton. It is a day to show respect for parents as a unit instead of seperate. The Congressional Resolution that passed Parent's Day into law established this day as a time for "recognizing, uplifting, and supporting the parents in the rearing of children." |
