I, as owner and operator of The Game Puppet website and all Awards, do hereby declare to advance and promote this Evaluator Code of Ethics in order to ensure fairness to all Applicants and to maintain the honor and integrity of the Awards Program for all Applicants and Awards.
I agree that all critiques given will be constructive in nature as positive comment is productive. I will not criticize, but help in any way if requested by an Applicant, and will remain helpful to advance the level of quality among Internet sites.
I agree to allow eligibility to all Applicants who meet the SET WRITTEN CRITERIA of any particular award. I agree to maintain a standard set of eligibility requirements (Criteria) and will fairly evaluate all sites meeting the Criteria which are submitted by any Applicant. I further agree to clearly post these Criteria on this website.
I DO not discriminate on grounds of race, gender, and nation of origin, religion, profession, age, mental or physical handicap, or any other reason which is globally viewed as poor conduct.
I agree to abide by the Awards Criteria myself. The time frames for receiving an award will be within 1 week and also notice if not accepted and the reason within that time.
I agree to evaluate web sites under the Criteria which are in place at the time of the application. If changes are made to Criteria AFTER applications are received, the submitted site will be evaluated using Criteria in effect during the time of the original submission.
I agree to maintain a professional, friendly and positive manner in all correspondence in communication with any Applicant.
I agree to evaluate all submitted sites within one (1) week of receipt of submission. If this deadline cannot be met, I will inform the Applicant of the new timeframe.
I agree not to divulge any information about any Applicant to persons, groups, or agencies not directly connected with the Awards Program, and only then for the purpose of evaluating submissions and notifying winners. All information received from Applicants via e-mail submissions or submission forms are deemed private.
I agree to encourage and promote the use of original material for Awards Programs Criteria and evaluation processes. I agree to help any person asking for advice concerning ethical evaluation for giving of awards. NOTE: This evaluation process is copyrighted material and written authorization is required for their use.
I agree to maintain any owned web sites that include Awards Programs to a standard that meets the Criteria of the Awards given. If any Awards are offered that are outside the main subject of our web site all such web sites will be maintained to a high standard of integrity in all.
I agree to maximum dimensions of Awards given and the web sites that will use them. If the maximum dimensions cannot be met then only a text link will be permitted. (The maximum size dimensions offered from this web site are: no more than "200" pixels by "200" pixels and 20kb.)
I agree that there will be a chance to reapply within one (1) week if the site submitted makes the appropriate changes to meet the Criteria. Also it will never be mandatory at this web site to sign a guest book or to join a mailing list to win an Award. It is not a requirement that any Awards given from this web site must be linked back to this web site (but of course it is appreciated). All Awards will be sent via e-mail upon winning.
I agree not to grant awards to, or endorse or promote, any web site that promotes or contains content which is considered to be illegal or discriminatory whether same is against human or wildlife.
I agree not to accept favors of any sort in exchange for consideration of submissions such as getting an award in order to give one. I will at all times maintain a high standard of honesty and integrity.
I agree that to will take all measures necessary to maintain the honor and integrity of my Awards Program.
In order to comply with C.O.P.P.A. you must be at least 13 years of age to nominate a Website for evaluation for an award.
