Upon receiving your award form or e-mail you will be notified within 3 days that it has arrived. If you have not heard from me after that time you can assume I did not get it and please send it again. In the event the form does not work for you an alternate e-mail contact is on the application page. The total time to check your entire site should not take longer than 1 week. While I am checking your site I will notify you if I find anything that is not within the criteria I will allow you to make the needed changes. It is important that you read the entire criteria before submitting your site for evaluation. If your site does not meet the required qualifications you may apply again when it does. I will make a short preliminary first visit within a few days of your application and if I see that it meets the basic criteria. On my second visit I will return and do a more thorough evaluation and at that time determine if your site is accepted. I also check to see if your site is family safe and that there are no copyright infringements. If your site passed the criteria winners will be notified and sent the award applied for as an attachment to the e-mail address on the award application with a confirmation letter that they have won all within the 1 week time period. If for some reason you do not win an award it is because too much of the criteria was not met and I will give the best description as to why it did not pass. If you want to correct those areas please feel free to apply after changes have been made and I will evaluate it again as want to allow the applicant to have a chance to achieve the highest chance possible in the evaluation process. Award winners must notify me, if any changes have been made to their site, such as changing to a new content format, on any reason that the site no longer matches the original criteria. |
