I started this award program to show others I know it is hard work to make a good site and know that sometimes it takes hours just getting one page the way you want it. My main quest is to find quality family sites on the WWW to visit and to acknowledge the work it takes to get there. My award is not only for content, but it also needs to have good eye appeal and finally ease of use and load in a reasonable amount of time and be useful to others. I do not check html code as I know not all programs will give the same results when checking and I am sure I have errors myself. Obvious spelling error and missing graphics on the other hand are easily corrected and should be in order before a submission. No matter what your sites are about please read the criteria before sending in the application. Process: I will try to review all sites promptly which submit an application either by using the Application Form of by sending an email with the information needed. Please allow 1-2 weeks for me to check your pages as I may be on vacation. If you do not win just remember you may have a great site, but just not quite within my criteria. You can make changes and resubmit at any time. I will try and respond even if you do not win with the reason(s) why. Good Luck! |
