Ocean City, Maryland is a calm oasis for those seeking relaxation. Whether the call is a boardwalk offering all sorts of lore, a myriad of restaurants offering fresh seafood, or simply walking along with the roar of the ocean beside you, it makes for a calming vacation. Ocean City began in the late 19th century as a few vacationers' cottages and quickly blossomed into the American retreat it is today.
